systems depends on employee behavior
(Park, Ribiere, & Schulte, 2004), especially
on knowledge sharing among employees.
This paper proposes a process model of
knowledge-sharing motivation based on
the combination of two prominent theo-
ries of motivation: the theory of planned
behavior, or TPB (Ajzen, 1991), and self-
determination theory, or SDT (Deci &
Ryan, 1985, 2000). Previous models of
knowledge-sharing motivation discuss mo-
tivation only in terms of level or amount.
